BlueWave is hiring multiple full-time Business Development Representatives for our healthcare-oriented SaaS software company. They are building a "Business Development Power Team" here in Florida. A whole office focused on business development for their growing portfolio of newly acquired SaaS Software companies in the health technology space. Responsibilities:
- A BDR is responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving sales growth.
- They are responsible for prospecting through potential customer lists to identify potential qualified leads that can be transferred to the Sales Team.
- Each day the BDR makes cold calls, sends emails, and leads high-level discovery calls with prospects to book sales appointments (ultimately trying to identify legitimate sales opportunities)
- Once the meeting is booked with the potential customer the BDR passes the prospect off to the Account Executive – in a warm transfer fashion, often staying engaged through the first few calls/demos.
- A BDR will have a weekly, quarterly, and annual quota like Sales. These quotas will include the number of emails sent, number of calls made, number of meetings booked.
- BDRs are measured by overall team performance – tracking the BDR-influenced pipeline, the number of deals created because of the BDR efforts.
- The BDR must be a subject matter expert and evangelist for the software & service solutions offered by the company.
- The BDR should produce creative strategies for targeting decision-makers at prospect accounts to book sales appointments that ultimately influence the company revenue.
- Work with the Marketing team to develop email/content for powerful outreach and prospecting.
- Maintain accurate and detailed notes of prospect activities in HubSpot CRM.
Requirements:
- BA Degree – Business, communication, or related field
- 1-2 years+ in a sales-focused or quota carrying position.
- Experience with outreach and cold calling / emailing
- Great written and communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- CRM understanding (HubSpot)
