BlueWave is hiring an Engineer In Training (EIT) for an engineering client with headquarters in Central Florida 32163. As an EIT, you will contribute to the design, analysis, and execution of structural engineering projects across various sectors. This role offers hands-on experience, professional development opportunities, and the chance to make a meaningful impact from day one.
Responsibilities:
Assist senior engineer in design and analysis of structural systems for buildings and other infrastructure projects.
Utilize industry-standard software to conduct structural analysis and simulations.
Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
Participate in project meetings, site visits, and client interactions to support project delivery.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering.
EIT certification or eligibility to obtain EIT certification within 1 year of employment.
Strong understanding of structural analysis and design principles.
Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, or ENERCALC.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Passion for learning and professional growth in the field of structural engineering.
