Executive Vice President of Marketing

BlueWave is hiring an Executive Vice president of Marketing for an entertainment technology company with headquarters in Central Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for aligning the organization around customer centricity while utilizing data insights and analytics to deliver exceptional experiences and measurable business results.

Responsibilities:  

• Act as a brand architect & steward and innovation catalyst for the company brands and proprietary IPs.  

• Drive the strategy and execution of all elements of the company's brand, marketing, and communication functions.  

• Manage and lead a high-performing marketing team and work cross-functionally with multiple marketing teams and joint-venture partners across the globe.  

• Inform Executive leadership regarding evolving business prospects, market trends, and opportunities for better positioning in the market and ensuring continued brand growth.  Manage agency relationships (Brand, PR, Research, Creative, etc.).  

• Collaborate with joint-venture and licensee partners to drive marketing strategy and sales.  

• Develop, manage, and oversee the execution of marketing KPIs to assess performance and overall strategy.  

• Work hand-in-hand with legal on IP protection (trademark, copyright, patents) and marketing compliance. 

Requirements:

• BA or MBA with an emphasis in Marketing or Marketing Communications required,

• 10+ years of brand experience in the entertainment, hospitality /themed entertainment experience, or consumer-packaged goods industry. 

• Deep knowledge and experience in business-to-business and consumer marketing, branding, and e-commerce across all offline and online platforms. 

• 10+ years of senior leadership experience overseeing marketing, communications, brand development, and innovative growth-oriented initiatives. 

• Ability to lead and mentor in a constantly evolving environment. 

• Early-stage IPO or Public company experience required (including compliance, go-to-market communications, shareholder & Board of Directors communications, financial communications, and alignment with CFO, CCO, and VPCS). 

• Knowledge of current tech including Web3, metaverse, NFTs, etc.
