BlueWave is hiring an embedded Linux engineer for a government communications client. As an embedded Linux engineer, you will be responsible for developing complex software applications programmed in C++.
Responsibilities:
Using software development best practices, design, develop, code, test, and integrate software applications on a LINUX platform.
Work with a small development team to integrate and deploy advanced software applications to a LINUX BSD-based server environment.
Requirements:
Experience developing LINUX multithreaded software for secure operation, adhering to strict information assurance guidelines and best practices.
Ability to understand and further develop existing OOP source code as needed
Development experience using industry-standard tools (gcc, make, git)
Real-time embedded firmware development using C/C++
Experience documenting software designs and test plans creation
Real-time data-processing software development experience a plus
Networking-centric software programming
