BlueWave is seeking an Accountant for an industry leading technology company based in Houston, TX 77306.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payments.
Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Conduct audits and assist with tax preparation.
Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making.
Maintain accurate financial filing systems and documentation.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2+ years of accounting experience (public accounting experience is a plus).
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with data analysis.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
