Job Description

BlueWave is hiring an Electrical Foreman, Day Shift for a technology and engineering services client based in Memphis, Tennessee. As Electrical Foreman, you will oversee electrical construction teams and coordinate installations for a large-scale, mission-critical facility. This is an onsite, 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity working six 12-hour day shifts per week.

Responsibilities

Oversee electrical installations, including underground duct banks, conduits, cable pulling, terminations, switchgear, transformers, and generators
Manage and schedule electrical contractors, subcontractors, foremen, and onsite crews
Ensure contractors adhere to project scope, schedule, budget, and safety requirements
Monitor daily construction progress and maintain project schedules
Champion and enforce site safety programs
Proactively resolve onsite electrical construction challenges
Conduct regular site inspections to verify quality and compliance
Prepare and present clear project progress reports

Requirements

3+ years of experience managing electrical construction teams on large-scale industrial or mission-critical projects
3+ years of electrical installation experience
Low- or medium-voltage electrical experience
Commercial or industrial construction experience
Strong problem-solving skills for complex electrical scenarios
Experience supervising data center or similar mission-critical electrical construction preferred
Knowledge of electrical redundancy, grounding, and power systems designed for continuous operation preferred
Familiarity with applicable building codes and regulations preferred
Experience with construction management, scheduling, or design-review software preferred
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred

Employment Type: Full-Time, 13-week contract-to-hire; 100% onsite in Memphis, Tennessee
