$88,000 – $110,000

Onsite/Remote:
Onsite (Orlando)
Shift rotation between 1st & 3rd shift (schedule flips weekly; flexible work environment)
Travel approx. 1x per quarter to vendors/factories

Job Description:
Mechanical testing and validation engineer supporting ride & show systems from blue sky through commissioning. Responsible for strain, stress, and acceleration testing; validating vendor FEA models; and ensuring as-built systems meet required criteria and industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and execute mechanical test plans

  • Perform strain gauge and accelerometer testing

  • Analyze stress, strain, and acceleration data

  • Validate vendor FEA and compare to real-world results

  • Support FAT and reduce technical risk

  • Conduct ASTM-based biodynamic acceleration testing

  • Interpret and apply applicable standards

  • Partner with sustaining engineering and project teams

Requires 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with strong hands-on data analysis background. Ideal candidate has experience in complex mechanical systems (ride systems, aerospace, defense, etc.) and can communicate effectively with technicians and vendors.
