Full-Time Payroll Specialist
Location: Hybrid, onsite 2 days a week in Orlando
Schedule: 40 hours per week; onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays

Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist with a staffing industry background to join our fast-paced, collaborative, and fun Operations team!
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Operations Manager to keep payroll running smoothly for a high-volume workforce. You’ll help ensure employee hours are collected, reviewed, reconciled, and processed accurately and on time. Because payroll for staffing is rarely boring, you’ll also navigate multiple clients, work locations, schedules, and timekeeping requirements.

In addition to owning key payroll responsibilities, you’ll assist with employee onboarding and other operational projects as our team and business continue to grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Operations Manager to manage weekly payroll activities from start to finish.
- Collect, review, and validate employee timecards before deadlines.
- Process payroll accurately and on time— because payday is a pretty important day!
- Maintain organized and accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Support payroll across multiple clients with different schedules, requirements, and pay policies.
- Research payroll discrepancies and follow each issue through resolution.
- Assist with employee onboarding based on client-specific and company requirements.
- Help identify ways to improve workflows, controls, processes, and reporting.
- Pitch in with administrative and office needs when necessary, including vendor coordination, supply orders, mailings, and company events as part of the Operations Team.

Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of payroll administration or payroll processing experience.
- Previous payroll experience within a staffing agency or similar high-volume environment.
- Experience processing payroll for hourly and temporary employees.
- Experience using ADP; ADP Workforce Now experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to balance multiple deadlines, priorities, and employee populations.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with payroll audits, reporting, and reconciliations.
