BlueWave is hiring a QA Automation Engineer for a healthcare technology company. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of company healthcare technology solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and operations, to identify and address quality gaps, define test strategies, and implement efficient and effective automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain automation frameworks, tools, and test scripts to effectively test company's healthcare technology products
Design, implement, and execute automated test suites to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of our software solutions
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into comprehensive test plans and strategies
Identify, analyze, and document software defects and issues and work closely with the development team to troubleshoot and resolve them
Lead and coordinate testing efforts across multiple projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of high-quality software releases
Continuously enhance and optimize test processes and methodologies to drive efficiency and maintain high-quality standards
Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing technical expertise and fostering their professional growth
Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in software testing, automation, and healthcare technology, and share knowledge within the team
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation, including designing and implementing test frameworks and test automation scripts
Strong proficiency in using Azure DevOps for test case management, test execution, and defect tracking
Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# for automation scripting
Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
In-depth knowledge of API testing, web services, and RESTful APIs
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills, with a keen eye for detail
Strong leadership and team management abilities, with a proven track record of leading and mentoring QA teams
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
