Position Summary:
The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for shaping and leading BlueWave’s recruiting team. This role is equal parts coach, strategist, and team builder. You’ll drive performance across our recruiting function, develop scalable systems, and play a key role in maintaining our performance-based culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Development
- Manage, coach, and mentor the recruiting team to enhance performance across all stages of BlueWave’s 7-Step Recruiting Process—including sourcing, pipelining, candidate engagement, contractor management, and recruiting best practices.
- Conduct daily shadowing sessions and provide real-time, actionable feedback.
- Hold weekly 1:1s to review performance metrics, support career development, and provide coaching.
Operational Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day recruiting operations and req prioritization, ensuring the team has the resources needed for success.
- Lead daily kickoff meetings and curate content for weekly Recruiter Workshops.
- Accurately track team KPIs and use data-driven insights to drive decisions.
Process & System Optimization
- Collaborate with Sales and Leadership to create and maintain SOPs that drive consistency and efficiency.
- Maintain internal tools and resources that streamline team communication and ensure a high-quality, consistent candidate experience.
Recruitment Strategy & Branding
- Responsible for current technology platforms such as Bullhorn, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Dice, and Indeed to attract top talent and build brand visibility.
- Drive inbound candidate flow and support overall employer branding initiatives.
- Owns technology strategy for recruiting team, bringing innovation & AI at the forefront to create operational efficiencies
HR & Organizational Support
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, hiring/firing decisions, and onboarding strategies, including internal hiring for all departments
- Contribute to short- and long-term organizational planning as it relates to the Recruiting function.
