BlueWave is hiring a Senior Combustion Turbine Engineer for a utilities and power generation client with headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. As a Senior Combustion Turbine Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Job Description
Act as support engineer to Principal Engineer for managing gas turbine fleet assets
Help with troubleshooting efforts of assets and equipment in fleet
Lead RCA to provide suggestions on how to fix or improve assets
Lead outage planning and support efforts
Partner closely with OEMs to resolve complex technical issues
Travel to sites periodically, up to 30% a year maximum
Good communication skills and presentation skills are a must
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering (ABET accreditation)
5+ years of experience in engineering
Must have hands-on gas turbine experience
