Sourcing Analyst

BlueWave is hiring a remote Sourcing Analyst for a hospitality client with headquarters in Orlando, FL 33801. As a sourcing analyst, you will primarily focus on indirect sourcing while also playing a crucial role in analyzing market trends in areas such as AI, MarTech, SaaS, Cloud, IT, and Marketing. This role involves data analysis, supplier evaluation, and providing data-driven insights to optimize our sourcing strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and report on key procurement performance indicators (KPIs), such as cost savings, supplier performance, and process efficiency improvements.

• Conduct regular risk assessments of suppliers, including financial stability, regulatory compliance, and overall performance.

• Regularly benchmark industry best practices and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for procurement optimization.

• Utilize data analysis skills to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets.

• Present findings clearly and effectively through data visualization.

• Stay informed about industry trends in AI, MarTech, SaaS, Cloud, IT, and Marketing to drive innovation in sourcing strategies.

• Develop, review, and update company policies and procedures in accordance with legal requirements and industry standards. 

• Ensure that employees are aware of and adhere to established policies. Collaborate with relevant departments to implement and communicate policy changes effectively.

• Actively participate in managing supplier documents by ensuring terms and conditions are adhered to and monitoring document expiration dates.

• Monitor and ensure compliance with document milestones and key performance indicators.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to extract meaningful insights.

• Strong data visualization skills to present findings effectively.

• Experience in managing and developing supplier relationships.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
