Job Description

BlueWave is hiring a Senior Website Specialist for a hospitality and entertainment client based in Orlando, Florida. As Senior Website Specialist, you will manage the day-to-day execution, maintenance, and optimization of the organization’s website and eCommerce experience. You will build and update digital content, troubleshoot functionality, implement SEO and tracking requirements, and monitor accessibility and website performance.

Responsibilities

Build, launch, and update event, content, and brand pages accurately and on schedule
Maintain website and eCommerce content through a content management system
Verify that webpages, links, buttons, videos, and other site components function correctly
Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, CMS, and general website issues
Coordinate technical solutions with internal teams and external website partners
Place and troubleshoot website tags and tracking pixels
Monitor indexing, coverage, and organic search performance
Implement page titles, meta descriptions, alternative text, header tags, and other on-page SEO elements
Conduct basic SEO and accessibility reviews
Monitor website analytics, user behavior, site speed, and Core Web Vitals
Identify user-experience issues and notable performance trends
Support marketing teams and external agencies with tracking and tagging requirements
Write clear, accurate, and brand-aligned website copy
Manage multiple website requests in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

At least three years of website experience in a results-driven marketing environment
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Website Development, or a related field
Experience building, launching, updating, and maintaining webpages through a CMS
Ability to troubleshoot HTML, CSS, CMS, links, buttons, videos, and website functionality independently
Experience with tag-management platforms, including tag and pixel placement
Working knowledge of on-page SEO practices
Understanding of website accessibility, ADA compliance, site speed, Core Web Vitals, user experience, and A/B testing
Experience producing digital content and writing clear website copy
Strong project management, communication, and attention-to-detail skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience with web analytics, search-performance, SEO-auditing, accessibility, and behavior-analytics tools preferred
Interest in live entertainment preferred

Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire with an initial 6-month contract period; onsite in Orlando, Florida
Pay Range: $30–$35 per hour
