BlueWave is hiring a Senior Director of Cyber Security for a healthcare company with headquarters in Orlando, FL 32837. As a senior director of cyber security you will be responsible for providing guidance on cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the design and implementation of robust cybersecurity architectures for networks, cloud environments, and applications.
Evaluate emerging technologies and solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
Lead and manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, including managers, analysts, and engineers.
Set performance goals, provide mentoring and career development support, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the cybersecurity team.
Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities across the organization's systems, networks, and applications.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and incident response plans.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards related to cybersecurity.
Develop and communicate the organization's cybersecurity vision, strategy, and roadmap.
Collaborate with executive leadership to align cybersecurity goals with overall business objectives.
Provide guidance on cybersecurity policies, standards, and best practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in the field of cybersecurity, with a track record of increasing responsibility.
Experience in leadership roles, preferably at the managerial or director level.
In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and best practices.
Strong understanding of network security, application security, encryption, authentication, and access control.
Familiarity with cloud security, identity and access management, and security architectures.
Proven experience developing and executing cybersecurity strategies aligned with business goals.
Ability to assess risks, analyze complex situations, and make informed decisions that balance security and business needs.
Expertise in managing cybersecurity incidents and coordinating effective incident response plans.
Ability to lead crisis management efforts, communicate with stakeholders, and mitigate the impact of incidents.
Deep understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements
