Job Description

BlueWave is hiring an Accountant for a growing team HQ'd in Knoxville, TN 37922 . This person will be responsible for performing daily accounting activities for multiple business units and a key participant in managing balance sheet accounts, general ledger entries, revenue recognition, managing AP, bank reconciliations and other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

Receive and submit invoices for approval and payment.
Assist with payroll processing across multiple entities.
Assist with preparation of journal entries.
Reconcile and review intercompany transactions.
Monitor credit card charges, payment discrepancies, refunds, returns and other charges.
Perform general ledger account variance analysis and reconciliations.
Assist in preparing for month in close and other required reports.
Assist with year-end audit.
Maintain accounting documents and records.
Follow generally accepted accounting principles.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
3-4 years of relevant experience
Experience with Quick Books/Quick Books Online
ERP experience such as Intacct
Software/SaaS experience/accounting knowledge preferred
Proficient in Microsoft office
Advanced Excel skills
Strong work ethic
