Job Description

BlueWave is hiring a Tube Bender for an industrial manufacturing client based in Central Texas. As Tube Bender, you will produce three-dimensional bends in metal tubing according to blueprints and technical specifications. You will also assemble, test, install, and troubleshoot hydraulic and industrial mechanical systems while supporting safe, reliable operations.

Responsibilities

Perform three-dimensional bends of metal tubing according to blueprint specifications.
Build and assemble hydraulic systems, subsystems, and components, including valves, manifolds, and pumps.
Build, crimp, and test hydraulic hose assemblies.
Test, diagnose, and repair industrial mechanical systems, subsystems, and components.
Move and install components, complete necessary connections, and perform functional checks to verify safe and correct operation.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and workplace safety.

Requirements

High school diploma.
2+ years of experience in an industrial maintenance or production environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Preferred qualifications include:

Direct experience with three-dimensional metal tube bending.
Ability to interpret blueprints and technical specifications.
Fluid Power Certification.
Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology or an equivalent technical certificate.
Familiarity with hydraulic systems that distribute liquids and gases under varying pressures.
Experience building, crimping, and testing hydraulic hoses.
Forklift certification.

Employment Type: Six-month contract-to-hire, onsite in Central Texas
Schedule: Four 10-hour night shifts per week, 6:00 p.m.–4:00 a.m.
