VP of Architecture

BlueWave is hiring a VP of Architecture for an engineering client with headquarters in Central Florida, 32163. As the VP of Architecture, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall architectural strategy in alignment with the company's vision and goals.

Responsibilities: 

• Design, drawings, and specifications production; programming; contract administration; client relations, and preparation of project scope and pricing proposals for a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. 

• Communicate with, coordinate, and mentor design team members at all levels and interface with administrative and business development staff.

• Perform construction related services, including shop drawing reviews, response to requests for information, periodic construction site observation, and occasional field designs.

• Read & interpret construction plans and specs.

• Prepare code analysis, drawings, specifications, design analysis, and construction cost estimates.

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices, and integrate them into the company’s architectural practices.

• Encourage and drive innovation within the architectural team to enhance design quality and efficiency.

• Lead the development and implementation of new design methodologies and tools.

Requirements:

• Qualified candidates should be licensed in the state of Florida or licensable by reciprocity with another state that which they are licensed. 

• Minimum of five years of hands-on work experience in architectural production and design

• Strong knowledge of project design and documentation, as well as proven project management skills.

• AutoCAD, Sketchup, Revit

• Able to function at a high level in both solo and team environments. 

• Experience working on multiple projects, strong client service skills
