<span><span>BlueWave is seeking a Territory Development Account Manager to drive expansion within the Technology & Engineering space. This role is responsible for building a new book of business by establishing relationships with companies hiring across IT, software, infrastructure, and engineering functions.<br>
<br>
You will play a critical role in growing BlueWaveâs presence in the marketâpartnering with organizations to deliver top technical talent while developing long-term, high-value client relationships. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong hunter mentality who understands technical hiring needs and thrives on building from the ground up.</span></span>

<h1><span><span><span>Key Responsibilities</span></span></span></h1>
<span><span>&bull; Develop and execute a strategic plan to penetrate and grow a designated territory within the Technology & Engineering sector</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities with companies hiring for technical and engineering roles</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Build relationships with hiring managers, engineering leaders, IT directors, and executive stakeholders</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Conduct cold and warm outreach via phone, email, LinkedIn, and networking events to generate pipeline</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Lead the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract negotiation and close</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Partner with recruiting teams to deliver highly qualified technical candidates and ensure successful placements</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Act as a consultative partner by understanding technical hiring challenges, market trends, and talent availability</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Establish long-term client partnerships with a focus on repeat business and account expansion</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Track pipeline, activity, and revenue goals to ensure consistent territory growth</span></span>

<h1><span><span><span>Requirements</span></span></span></h1>
<span><span>&bull; Bachelorâs Degree or equivalent experience</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management (technology staffing or engineering recruiting preferred)</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Familiarity with Technology and/or Engineering roles, hiring trends, or industries is strongly preferred</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Ability to manage a sales pipeline and prioritize effectively</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Comfortable working in a startup or high-growth environment</span></span><br>
<span><span>&bull; Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and industry events</span></span>
